Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #20-168 <br />RESOLUTION REHIRING A TEMPORARY BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKER <br />WHEREAS, Staff alerted the City Council of an upcoming temporary absence in Building <br />Maintenance; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff selected a qualified candidate; and <br />WHEREAS, the candidate has passed the pre -employment screenings; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommends hiring the Temporary Building Maintenance Worker in <br />the Public Works Department. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #20-168 to hire the following employee on or near the date <br />listed below:c <br />Temporary Building Maintenance Worker: Erick Benson, effective on or near August 26, <br />2020 at $15.50 per hour for up to 20 working days. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 25th day of August, 2020 <br />Mayor <br />
