Charter Commission <br />Meeting Date: 08/27/2020 <br />By: Colleen Lasher, Administrative <br />Services <br />5.3. <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Approve Year End Activity Letter to Chief Judge for Year 2019 <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Purpose: To fulfill the requirement of submitting an annual report to the Chief Judge of the Tenth Judicial District. <br />Background: In accordance with Minnesota Statutes 410.05, an annual report reflecting the activities of the Charter <br />Commission must be submitted to the Chief Judge of the Tenth Judicial District. Attached to this case is the <br />summary letter for year 2019 for the Commission's review, comment and approval. Once approved by the <br />Commission, staff will forward the letter to the Chief Judge. <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve the year-end annual report letter for 2019 and direct staff to submit such letter to the Chef Judge, as per <br />State Statutes requirements. <br />Action: <br />Motion to approve the year-end annual report letter for 2019 and direct staff to submit such report to The Honorable <br />Douglas B.
