<br />Councilmember Menth introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #20-181 <br /> <br />TH <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING EXTENSION TO ABATEMENT AT 8050 147 LN NW <br /> <br />th <br /> WHEREAS, <br />8050 147 Ln NW has an open code enforcement case for multiple violations <br />at the property legally described as follows: <br /> <br />LOT 1 BLK 2 HY-10 RAMSEY SUBJ TO EASE OF REC, ANOKA COUNTY, <br />MINNESOTA <br /> <br />(the “Subject Property”) (PID: 293225140008) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the violations on the Subject Property include the following: <br /> <br /> <br />a.Violations of City Code Chapter 117, Off-Street Parking Violations and Outdoor <br />Storage; and <br /> <br /> <br />b.Violations of City Code Chapter 30, Public Nuisances; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />Staff has inspected the Subject Property on April 9, 2020 and June 6, 2020 <br />and July 21, 2020; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City of Ramsey sent notices on April 9, 2020, June 3, 2020, and June 10, <br />2020; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City Council approved abatement of the Subject Property on July 28, <br />2020; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City completed a full inspection for the Abatement on August 3, 2020 <br />and sent a detailed Abatement Notice on August 11, 2020; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />John Leukam, Property Owner, requested an extension for abatement <br />through October 1, 2020 on August 19, 2020; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City Council reviewed the requested extension on August 25, 2020. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council approves the following related to the code enforcement <br />case: <br /> <br />a.Staff reinspects the Subject Property on August 26, 2020 <br /> <br />b.If more than twenty-five (25) vehicles or pieces of equipment remain that are not in <br />compliance with City Code standards, Staff will remove items until the number <br />reaches 25. <br /> <br /> <br />
