<br />Councilmember Menth introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #20-182 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING ALTERNATIVE MATERIALS FOR SEATING WALLS <br />ADJACENT TO THE SAPPHIRE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />Sapphire Apartment, LLC, hereafter referred to as “Developer”, properly <br />applied for Final Plat and Site Plan approval of the following described property located in the <br />City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Outlot A, COR Parkview Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Or upon platting: <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 1, COR Sapphire Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the ‘Subject Property’); <br /> <br /> WHEREAS <br />, the City Council approved the Final Plat and Site Plan for The Sapphire on <br />July 9, 2019, which included seating walls adjacent to the site consisting of materials similar to <br />what had been used adjacent to Casey’s and Alina; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS <br />, the Developer has requested authorization to utilize alternative materials <br />for the seating walls (see attached exhibit). <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants approval of use of alternative materials (as <br />shown in the attached exhibit) for the seating walls adjacent to The Sapphire. There shall <br />be no change in location of seating walls. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor LeTouneau <br /> Councilmember Menth <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />
