.(~otmci Imclnber Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-03-086 RESOLIJTION AUTHORIZING BIDDING FOR THE CITY OF RAMSEY MUNICIPAL CENTER PROJECT WHEREAS, the City Council has established the need for a new Municipal Center to serve the community and provide office space for city staff, police operations, and community meeting space; and WIIEREAS, the design for the new Municipal Center is nearing completion and the construction document phase will be completed by the end of March 2005, and WilEREAS, based upon the design development phase, the estimated project cost is $16~668,159; and WHEREAS, the project cost will be updated following the completion of the 95% construction document review; and WHEREAS, the proposed bid period will be April 8th, 2005 -- May 5th, 2005 will bid opening occurring at 2:00 p.m. on the bid date of May 5th, 2004 at Fire Station I, 15015 Armstrong Blvd NW in Ramsey, MN; and WHEREAS, the contacts for all site, architectural, mechanical, electric, security, and technology construction and for the issuance of Lease Revenue Bonds to fund the project will be presented to Council at their regular meeting of May 24th for authorization.
