Counci hnember Stommen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #05-03-089 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONTRACT WITH GOFF & HOWARD, INC. WITH <br />FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,000 TO BE TRANSFERRED FROM THE <br />BUDGET OF THE COUNCIL CONTINGENCY TO THE BUDGET OF THE <br />NEWSLETTER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on March 15, 2005, during a City Council work session, public relations, <br />newsletter and other communication service needs for the City were discussed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the utilization of the services of the firm Goff & Howard, Inc. for such <br />needs was also discussed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the contract price for such services would not exceed $15,000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a transfer in the amount of $15,000 would be made from the budget of the <br />Council Contingency to the budget of the Newsletter. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMS EY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />Authorization to enter into a contract with Goff & Howard, Inc. for public relations <br />work in. an amount not to exceed $15,000 <br /> <br />A transfer in the amount of $15,000 would be made from the budget of the Council <br />Contingency to the budget of the newsletter. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />[';lvig, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Counciimember Strommen <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Pearson <br /> <br />and the li)llowing voted against the same: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br /> <br /> <br />
