The purpose of
the case tonight is to talk about the project and to receive direction from the Committee as it
relates to the preparation of a Feasibility Study for each neighborhood to address the concerns
that have been addressed in these neighborhoods.

The City Council has the authority to initiate a project of this nature and the residents have the
ability during a 60-day period following the respective public hearings to terminate the
consideration of such an improvement as part of City Code.

Recommendation:

Motion to direct City Staff to prepare a Feasibility Study relating to utilities, pavement and curb
and gutter for the neighborhoods being discussed.

Committee Action:

Direct City Staff to prepare a Feasibility Study relating to utilities, pavement and curb and gutter
for the neighborhoods being discussed.

Reviewed by:
City Administrator
Director of Public Works

PW: 11/20/01
