CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, January 9, 2001, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Human Resources Manager Rhonda Heryla <br />City Engineer Brian Olson <br />Police Chief David Gustafson <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:05 p.m. and called <br />upon Councilmember Anderson to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />OATH OF OFFICE FOR MAYOR AND COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich administered the oath of office to Mayor Gamec, Councilmember Kurak <br />and Councihnember Zimmerman. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION BY NORTH METRO MAYORS <br /> <br />Joseph Strauss, North Metro Mayors Association, presented the Council with materials <br />pertaining to the impacts changes in legislation could have on Local Government Aids <br />(LGA/HACA) and Fiscal Disparities for member communities. <br /> <br />City Council/January 9, 2001 <br /> Page 3 of 35 <br /> <br /> <br />
