Development Authority in order to achieve land use development patterns that support commuter <br />rail station investments. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen inquired if the resolution is site specific. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman replied no. <br /> <br />Councihnember Zimmerman inquired if staff had received any plans for the multi-modal station. <br />City Administrator Norman replied no. <br /> <br />Councihnember Zimmerman stated that the plans he has seen at the County show the station <br />along C.R. #56. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman replied that that location is part of the North Star Con-idor plan. <br />Councihnember Zimmerman questioned as to why the City of Ramsey does not have a plan. <br />Mayor Gamec replied that the City does have a picture of the station, but not specific on a site. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman stated that the site should be between C.R. #56 and C.R. #83 so <br />that it is not backing up traffic on C.R. #56. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen stated that he recalls this matter was handled in an official way by <br />the Public Works Commission and thought it was ratified by the City Council. At that time the <br />Public Works Commission indicated that the station would be no farther east than the BMA <br />property and that it should be farther west so that it would not impact the industrial area. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to adopt Resolution <br />#01-01-027 expressing support for Northstar Corridor Station Area Land Use Plans. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Kurak, Hendriksen, <br />and Zimmennan.
