Assistant City Administrator Gladhill noted that currently there are two vendors interested and the <br />City could make a statement, without using much staff time, to make a statement expressing <br />interest which would determine whether additional vendors would be interested. He noted that the <br />next step would be to gain the input of the Planning Commission and City Council before seeking <br />interest from vendors. <br /> <br />5. MEMBER / STAFF UPDATE <br /> <br />Economic Development Manager Sullivan indicated reported that there was a lot of positive <br />feedback from the 2020 Business Appreciation Day event. He noted that the event was well <br />received and provided an update. He reported that he has begun conducting business visits again, <br />focusing on businesses that have been most impacted by COVID. He provided an update on the <br />business grant program. He stated that Anoka County has a similar program that is also available <br />to for profit and non-profit organizations. <br /> <br />6. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Member Burandt, seconded by Member Cords, to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Steffen, Members Burandt, Cords, Heineman, Kuzma, <br />and Riley. Voting No: None.
