The City of Ramsey welcomed in <br />Autumn by hosting Fall Equinox Starwatch party with Mike Lynch. Participants were able to view far <br />away targets through telescopes despite the smoky skies. <br />• Sunset Yoga in the Parks: Tuesday wrapped up the extended Sunset Yoga in the Parks as the sunsets <br />earlier each evening. Check back next Spring for the return of this popular program! <br />• BINGO: With Summer BINGO a success, we are partnering with the Anoka Women of Today to offer <br />one more fall session! Winner gets half the pot, and the other half will go to The Christmas Committee <br />who serves close to 1,000 families a year providing toys and food to residents of the northern Anoka <br />County area. <br />• Hike with a Naturalist <br />• September 26th was the first Hike with a Naturalist at Mississippi West Regional Park. Join Minnesota <br />Master Naturalist Educator Carlyn Erion every other weekend through October 24th for an educational <br />excursion that will provide a deeper understanding of the flora and fauna that can be found in our own <br />backyards. <br />• See attached flyer. <br />• Second Annual Ramsey Resident Day on the Farm <br />• The City of Ramsey is excited to announce the second annual Ramsey Resident Day on the Farm with <br />the Pearson Family Farms. As this was a popular event last year, our partnership has expanded to <br />include the Rumriver Art Center <br />• Enjoy a jump in the popcorn pit, view the antique tractors display, solve the corn maze, get a little <br />competitive with pumpkin games, and channel your inner creativity with the Rumriver Art Center for <br />pumpkin painting and a coloring contest! <br />• Food trucks will be available for those who work up an appetite. This will be a rain or shine event. <br />Registration is requested but not required. There is a suggested donation of $5/person or $20/family <br />upon arrival. See you out on the farm! <br />• See attached flyer. <br />• Photo Contest <br />• The City of Ramsey is holding a Photo Contest in search for beautiful photos from the community. <br />Submit your photos that highlight what you love about life in Ramsey!
