<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #20-144 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDER #1 FOR THE COR INFILTRATION <br />BASIN, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #18-09 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #18-056, adopted March <br />27, 2018, a Feasibility Report was prepared by the City Engineer with reference to <br />construction of storm water infiltration basins, a storm water lift station and other appurtenant <br />work; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #18-072, adopted April 9, <br />2018, the City Council approved the Feasibility Report, and ordered the City Engineer to <br />prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #19-093, adopted April 23, <br />th <br />2019, the City has acquired title to Part of Outlot A, Ramsey Town Center 13 Addition to be <br />used in the infiltration basins; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #19-115, adopted May 14, <br />2019, the City Council accepted final plans and specifications and authorized advertisements <br />for bids for said improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald and in Finance and <br />Commerce on May 17 and May 24, 2019; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were received, opened, and tabulated on June 7, 2019, and the <br />following bids were found to comply with the advertisement for bids; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Northern Lines Contracting, Inc. of Bloomington, Minnesota, <br />in the amount of $607,136.11 for the total bid for construction of the improvements in <br />accordance with the approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids, is the <br />lowest responsible bidder and their bid shall be and hereby is accepted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Change Order #1 in the amount of $1,500 will allow for muskrat <br />protection shielding of the lift station float lines as muskrats sometimes enter stormwater lift <br />stations and damage float lines by chewing on them, which the approved plans and <br />specifications did not account for. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
