CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 27, 2001, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Principal Planner Patrick Trudgeon <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />City Engineer Brian Olson <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Police Chief David Gustafson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:03 p.m. and called <br />upon Councilmember Anderson to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />. Mayor Gamec stated that the cities of Ramsey, Anoka, Champlin, Coon Rapids, and Dayton will <br /> be holding the March Home Improvement Show at the Anoka Armory. <br /> <br />Jeff Shot, Jr., Danny's Tranny/St. Paul Terminal, stated that he was looking to receive some <br />Council input regarding properties involved with an agenda item. He explained that St. Paul <br />Terminals is a separate operation from the business structure that Danny's Tranny once was. St. <br />Paul Terminal has been in business for 20 years and is considered pioneers in the recycling <br />industry for the methods they use. Currently they are in the process of looking at using the <br />Danny's Tranny site for indoor processing. He stated that he hopes that any thought or feelings <br />the Council has had regarding the previous property owner can be unbiased. St. Paul Terminals <br />does intend to abide by every rule and regulation of the City, as they do in every business they <br /> <br />own. <br /> <br />City Council/February 27, 2001 <br /> Page 2 of 23 <br /> <br /> <br />
