ORDINANCE #05- <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND <br />SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE 'OF :.RAMSEY, <br />MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 9.11.02 (ACCESSORY STRUCTUREs)AND <br />9.21). 11 (R-1 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT) OF THE CITY CODE.' <br /> <br />· ['he City o f Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1 AUTHORITY <br /> <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the charter of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />SECT[ON 2 REPEAL <br /> <br />The Ibtlowing language is hereby repealed: <br /> <br />9~ I. 1.02 Accessory Structures <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Every private in-ground swimming pool or commercial fishing <br />pond shall be enclosed by a fence or wall not less than four (4) feet high to prevent uncontrolled <br />access by small children. <br /> <br /> Subd. 2. Any proposed accessory building should be located on the parcel of <br />land sr~ as to allow tbr orderly future re-subdivision of a parcel on which the building is to be <br />l(matcd. <br /> <br /> Subd. 3. No accessory buildih~ shall be constructed on any lot Prior to the time <br />construction of the principal building. <br /> <br />Subd. 4. <br /> <br />a. The height of detached accessory buildings shall not exceed twenty-two (22) <br /> feet on parcels 2.5 acres (108,900 square feet) or greater in size. <br /> <br />b. The height of detached accessory buildings shall not exceed sixteen (16) feet <br /> on parcels less than 2.5 acres (108,900 square feet) in size. <br /> <br />c. ~he height of attached accessory buildings shall not exceed the height of the <br /> principal structure.
