Subd. 2. Limitations of Operation for ATV's and Snowmobiles: <br /> <br />All-terrain vehicles and snowmobiles may be operated within right-of- <br />way of a trunk, county state-aid, or county highway within the <br />designated use area. <br /> <br />b. You may not operate an ATV within the right-of-way of the above <br /> areas from April 1 to August 1. <br /> <br /> Subd. 3. Hours of Operation. No recreational vehicles may be <br />operated any place in the City between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Sunday <br />through Friday, and between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. <br /> <br /> Subd. 4. Snow-cover. Recreational vehicles shall not be operated <br />ot't' one's own private property or the property of another that the operator has written <br />permission to be on, from November 1 to April 1, unless there is a minimum six (6) <br />inches of snow cover. <br /> <br />6~04.05 Youthful Operators. <br /> <br /> Subd. 1. Snowmobiles -See MSS 84.862, Snowmobile training required <br />and MSS 84.872, Youthful snowmobile operators. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. All-terrain vehicles- See MSS 84.9256, Youthful operators. <br /> <br />Subd. 3. Off-highway motorcycles- See MSS 84.793, Youthful operators. <br /> <br />6,04°06 City and State Traffic Ordinances. City and State laws shall apply to <br />the operation of recreational vehicles upon streets and highways in the City. In many <br />cases the City Ordinance is more restrictive than State Statute. In those cases where <br />a City Ordinance is more restrictive the City Ordinance will supersede State <br />Statute. <br /> <br />6.04.07 Towing. It is unlawful for any person to operate a recreational vehicle so <br />as 1,() tow any person or thing on a public street except through the use of a rigid tow bar, <br />as defined by State Statute, attached to the rear of the recreational vehicle. <br /> <br />6.(}4.08 Equipment. It is unlawful for any person to operate a recreational vehicle <br />a~y place within the limits of the City unless it is equipped with the following: <br /> <br />Brakes adequate to control the movement of, and to stop and hold <br />the recreational vehicle under any condition of operation. <br /> <br />When operated between the hours of one-half hour before sunrise, <br />one-half hour after sunset, or at any time of reduced visibility, <br />recreational vehicles shall have at least one clear lamp attached to <br /> <br /> <br />
