We recognize the importance of a visionary and practical comprehensive plan that will continue to be a working document well after its initial development. We offer a collaborative team of TKDA and MK Land. Our two firms have worked together on a number of _ projects in a community that shares some of Ramsey's key planning goals: to address transportation needs proactively,to protect and highlight its natural environment, and to foster a community focus in its town _ center. As the Project Manager,I am very pleased to offer Ramsey this multi-disciplined project team of myself,Mark Kaltsas,ASLA, Steve Elmer,AICP,Joe Weaver, P.E.,Berry Farrington, Angela Torres,and _ Corey Sader. These staff members are committed to work on the Ramsey Comprehensive Plan through the duration of the process to be completed before June 2008. The details are contained in our proposal;however,we would like to highlight the following items. • Planning is an important element of our practice;TKDA has been providing planning services to municipal clients for over 30 years. • Mr. Thompson's 12 years of experience as the Metropolitan Council Comprehensive Plan Review Manager provides him with an intimate knowledge of their staff,policies, values, and planning requirements. We understand how Ramsey fits into the regional context, which will facilitate plan .� approval by the Metropolitan Council. • Providing a multi-discipline approach will give the City a distinct advantage. Our team brings expertise in municipal planning, urban design,transportation planning and engineering,GIS, and visualization/graphic design.
