Public Works Committee <br />Meeting Date: 10/20/2020 <br />Submitted For: Grant Riemer, Engineering/Public Works <br />By: Grant Riemer, Engineering/Public Works <br />Title: <br />Request for Street Light at the Corner of Alpaca St and 166th Ave <br />5. 1. <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Purpose: <br />Discuss the request for a street light at the corner of Alpaca St/ 166th Ave <br />Background: <br />On 9/22/20 staff received a petition signed by 5 separate residences living near the intersection of Alpaca St/166th <br />Ave. The petition stated that the residents felt the addition of a street light would increase the safety at that <br />intersection. <br />Timeframe: <br />10 Minutes <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />The intersection of Alpaca St/ 166th Ave does have a rather sharp bend to it and can be surprising to motorists, if <br />they are not familiar with the area.
