Get to know the constellations like <br />Bootes, Cancer, Crater, Hydra, Leo and Virgo and some of the great <br />stories behind them. We'II also use large reflecting telescopes, in- <br />cluding two giant reflector telescopes that are among the biggest <br />mobile scopes in Minnesota for close up views of the moon, Sat- <br />urn, star clusters, galaxies and other magic in our Fall skies. <br />Mike will also bring a telescope-astrophotography system for really <br />distant targets such as galaxies millions of light years away. Mike <br />Lynch is a meteorologist at WCCO Radio and has been hosting star <br />watch parties and teaching astronomy classes for over 48 years. <br />You're invited to bring lawn chairs to make yourself comfy! <br />Illrn po rtallri't Updates: This program will be primarily out- <br />doors, so dress accordingly. Masks are required when not <br />seated, telescopes will be disinfected between each use. <br />Folks without glasses will be required to wear provided safety <br />glasses, couples and families may share. <br />Regiiis'tllrt'tiiii In is required, participation is limited to 30 peo- <br />ple.
