Administrative Services Director Lasher reported that the Council discussed the union negotiations <br />and staff will continue to meet with the unions. <br /> <br />2.02: Continued Discussion of 2021 Budget/Levy <br /> <br />Finance Director Lund reviewed the staff report. She commented that some homes will see a <br />reduction in the tax value because of the decreased valuation of the property by the County. She <br />provided details on the proposed 4.99 percent increase to the levy, which is a decrease of about <br />$92,000 from the last worksession review. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich provided details on the Nowthen Fire training line item. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Council was to move forward with the proposed preliminary levy as proposed <br />with a 4.99 percent increase. <br /> <br />2.03: Discuss 2020 Citizen Survey <br /> <br />No discussion. <br /> <br />2.04: Discuss Council Committee Appointments due to the Ward 1 Vacancy <br /> <br />No discussion. <br /> <br />3.
