Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #20-232 <br />APPROVING LEASE AGREEMENT FOR 6701 HWY 10 NW: CASE OF <br />CONNECTIONS CHURCH <br />WHEREAS, COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the normal business operations of <br />Connections Church, namely their ability to lease space at Ramsey Elementary School; and <br />WHEREAS, Connections Church has asked the city to consider a 1 year lease of the <br />west 4,820 square feet of 6701 Hwy NW (the "Lease Space"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey EDA had a meeting on October 8, 2020 and recommended <br />approval of the Lease Space at a rate of $2,500.00 per month. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City of Ramsey authorizes execution of the lease with Connections Church. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 13th day of October, 2020. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />
