Project Personnel <br /> The HKGi team assembled for this project provides the skills and <br /> experience required for the update of Ramsey's Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Our team has gained a thorough understanding of community planning <br /> and the comprehensive planning process through extensive experience <br /> addressing a broad variety of planning issues and projects. <br /> The following staff members comprise the planning team for the Ramsey <br /> Comprehensive Plan. This section explains their role in the project. <br /> Resumes for each staff member follow these summaries. <br /> Rusty Fifield will serve as the Project Manager for the Ramsey RUSTY Fl FIELD <br /> Comprehensive Plan. He will lead the planning process and coordinate <br /> the work of the team. Rusty will have primary responsibility for the Project Manager <br /> identification and analysis of strategic development issues, the evaluation phone: 612.252.7133 <br /> of land use alternatives and the creation of required plan elements. He e-mail:fusty@hkgi.com <br /> will design and lead the public participation process used in Ramsey. <br /> Rusty's qualifications for this project begin with direct experience with <br /> Ramsey. He has been the project manager for recent HKGi projects <br /> in Ramsey, including the fiscal impact analysis and the Central Rural <br /> Reserve Study. He was actively involved with planning for the Rum River <br /> commercial district and for the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Rusty brings over 27 years of experience with Minnesota cities to the <br /> Ramsey Comprehensive Plan. He is currently the project manager for <br /> comprehensive plan updates in Monticello and New Ulm. He recently led <br /> comprehensive planning projects in Elk River,Worthington and Luverne. <br /> His recent experience also includes downtown planning projects in Grand <br /> Rapids, Lakeville and Rosemount. Rusty also played a key role in the <br /> creation of Minnesota's two newest cities- Columbus(incorporation)and <br /> Elko New Market(merger). <br /> Rusty has worked on community development and planning from a variety <br /> of perspectives. Prior to joining HKGi,he worked for almost 18 years as <br /> a financial consultant. Rusty brings an understanding of municipal finance <br /> powers and resources that only comes from experience. His experience <br /> and skills give HKGi the unique ability to address implementation issues <br /> that affect every plan that the firm undertakes.
