Counci lmember Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-04-116 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE RESIGNATION OF COMMUNITY SERVICE <br />OFFICER AND GRANT AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE A COMMUNITY SERVICE <br />OFFICER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Daniel Godlewski was hired as a full-time, regular Community Service <br />Of'ricer; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Godlewski has submitted a letter of resignation from his position <br />effective April 19, 2005. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to accept Daniel Godlewski's resignation from the Community <br />Service Officer position; <br /> <br />2) That thc effective date of Mr. Godlewski's resignation is April 19, 2005 <br /> <br />ri'hat authorization is granted to hire Christopher Curtis as Community Service Officer at <br />an hourly wage of $15.59 effective on or after May 1, 2005. Mr. Curtis's appointment <br />would be contingent upon successful completion of a background and driver's license <br />investigation and a pre-employment physical and drug screen. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Jeffrey and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Jeffl'ey <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councihnember Elvig <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />And the fbllowing voted against the same: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br />And thc following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
