Councilmember Strommen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-04-110 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE INTERIM POLICY FOR LAND USE CHANGES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey ("City") is in the process of conducting a <br />C, omprchcnsive Plan Update; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is expected that the Comprehensive Plan Update will be completed by the <br />of 2005; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received several applications asking that the Comprehensive <br />Plan be amended to allow for certain development; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to review proposed applications in a <br />~imely manner; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council wants to use uniform criteria in considering <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendments in the interim until such time the Comprehensive Plan Update <br />is completed. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That thc Ramsey City Council hereby adopts the "Interim Policy for Proposed Land Use <br />Changes" as attached to this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />lJ;lvig, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Jeffi'ey <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Pearson <br /> <br />and thc ffollowing voted against the same: <br /> <br /> <br />
