COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> WSB Team Jack Forsiund, AICP <br /> Jack has over 16 years' experience performing and managing a broad <br /> range of transportation projects. Jack has advanced degrees in both <br /> planning and civil engineering, and has been involved in many large- <br /> scale transportation projects. He specializes in transportation plans, <br /> corridor studies, conceptual design/layout, economic analyses, and <br /> environmental documentation. Jack has the training, experience, <br /> and capabilities to provide exceptional technical services to Ramsey. <br /> Through previous project work, he has a very thorough understanding of <br /> the transportation issues facing Anoka County and the City of Ramsey. <br /> Recent projects that Jack has performed and managed that are <br /> pertinent to the 2008 Ramsey Comprehensive Plan include: <br /> • I-35E Corridor in Lino Lakes, MN — transportation and traffic <br /> studies, Areawide Urban Alternative Review (AUAR) — This work <br /> analyzed the transportation issues and needs associated with three <br /> development scenarios for the 4,600 acre study area adjacent to I- <br /> 35E, CSAH 14, CR 21, and CR 140. Jack performed extensive <br /> technical analyses and devised reasonable-cost mitigation strategies <br /> to address traffic impacts on the county and state roadway network. <br /> Project Reference: Mike Grochala, Community Development <br /> Director (651) 982-2499, michael.grochala@ci.lino-lakes.mn.us <br /> • Urbanized Area Long Range Transportation Plan — Decatur, IL— <br /> This LRTP was prepared for the Decatur MPA,located in central Illinois with <br /> a population of approximately 119,000. The LRTP addressed roadways, <br /> transit operations, bicycle facilities, and rail and airport operations within <br /> the overall MPA. As part of this project, the project team coordinated <br /> closely with media outlets, including local newspapers and television <br /> stations.
