COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE
CITY OF RAMSEY
WSB has extensive experience in completing transportation plans and
projects within Anoka County, and specifically the City of Ramsey. We
are currently engaged on the TH 47 Corridor Study, which extends from
the City of Anoka through Ramsey, to Burns Township. Through this
project, we have become very familiar with Ramsey and transportation
issues facing the community. We also are very familiar with the Anoka
County version of the Met Council Travel Demand Forecasting Model,
having used this tool extensively for the TH 47 Study and other projects
within the County. Our staff assigned to this project is very qualified in
completing transportation plan updates and we welcome you to contact
our references to this regard. Furthermore WSB &Associates, Inc. is a
full service engineering company that has the resources and expertise to
assist rapidly developing communities such as Ramsey in numerous areas.
In the development of the Transportation Component of the
Comprehensive Plan, we propose to develop technical memorandums
for the major tasks. Presented below are the major
tasks of the Transportation Component of the Comprehensive Plan
including the personnel and estimated hours to complete each task.
1. Review and Update Goals and Objectives for the Transportation
System
1.1. Review the 2001 Goals and Objectives with respect to the
transportation system, and refine and update them as necessary. In
doing this, we will insure that the goals and objectives for the future
Transportation Plan will complement the future land use plan and other
elements of the Comprehensive Plan.
2. Collect Data and Document the Existing Transportation System.
2.1. Review and update functional classification of the City-wide
system.
2.2.
