Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-03-076 RESOI. UTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #05- 27 (WELCOMES ROAD STREET GRADING AND PAVING) WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted January 18, 2005, a feasibility study for Improvement Project 05-27, Welcome's Road grading and Paving, has bccn received, having been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer; and WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, cost effective, and feasible. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of grading and paving Welcome's Road in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of $141,013. That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 12th day of April, 2005 at Ramsey Fire Station, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember l'carson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Elvig Councilmember Pearson Councilmember Cook Councilmember Jeffrey Councilmember Strommen the following voted against the same: iloDe and the following abstained: IIOIlC and tho lbllowing were absent: RESOLUTION #05-03-XXX Page 1 Of 1
