<br />Councilmember Menth introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #20-233 <br /> <br />APPROVING LEASE AGREEMENT FOR 6701 HWY 10 NW: CASE OF MILLE LACS <br />MOTOR SPORTS II <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the normal business operations of Mille <br />Lacs Motor Sports II, namely their ability orderly have customer pick-up and drop off their boats <br />and vehicles for seasonal transition times; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mille Lacs Motor Sports II; has asked the city to consider a 3 Period lease <br />in order to improve businesses efficiencies; for the rear portion of 6701 Hwy NW as depicted on <br />the lease agreement (the “Lease Space”); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey EDA had a meeting on October 8, 2020 and recommended <br />approval of the Lease Space for the 3 Period for the flat fee of $1,814,00 subject to actual lease <br />area calculation. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City of Ramsey authorizes execution of the lease with Mille Lacs Motor Sports <br />II; subject to actual lease area calculation and City Attorney review. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Riley, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Menth <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Existing Vacancy <br /> <br />
