WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #20-165 adopted August 10, 2020 the City Council approved Change Order #1 in the amount of $43,410.80 to prevent impacts to existing trees, landscaping, and private utilities, and will prevent the need to reconstruct a portion of Variolite Street in the future by extending trunk sanitary sewer 160 linear feet to the north, and will allow for the connection to City sewer and water services as requested rd by the residents at 7600 163 Lane NW; and th WHEREAS, as of October 27, 2020 $571,302.21 has been paid to date; and WHEREAS, the Engineer Technician IV has inspected the completed work and recommends authorizing partial payment #3 to Park Construction Company for Improvement Project #20-01, Variolite Street Reconstruction, in the amount of $439,613.78. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The City Council authorizes partial payment #3 to Park Construction Company for Improvement Project #20-01, Variolite Street Reconstruction, in the amount of $439,613.78. 2) The City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release from for payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of October 27, 2020. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be given a signed copy of this resolution.
