Chairperson Nixt noted that given the recommendation on the preliminary plat for denial, he <br />would open the public hearing, however he believes the Planning Commission will be <br />recommending denial. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt opened the public hearing at 10:08 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Brauer to close the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motiol~ carried. She <br />indicated they are at a net density of 2.75 units per acre. She stated the proposal is for 26 single- <br />family detached units and 16 single-family lots. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald stated the developer has agreed to install signage to identify the wetlands <br />so £uture homeowners know not to mow that area, and appropriate seedlings will be planted. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt asked where they are providing public open space. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald stated there is not public open space, but they are providing private open <br />space.
