From the ISnks Golf Course, the trail heads east <br />e~ n or t:l~ along the east side of Lake Itasca. The tr,'fil continues north through <br />[,ake ~tasc;t Park xvhere there is a trailhead and kiosk. Continuing north, the <br />i ~:ail crosses '1 'rott Brook Corridor and ends near County Road #83. The surface <br /> ~he trail is bituminous. The trail type begins with an on-road type of trail, <br />~}-,e~'-~ it changes to an off-road type of trail. This trail crosses many natural <br />cotmntmitics, including xvetlands, ~voodlands, and prairies.
