Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #20-294 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MUNICIPAL UTILITY TESTING PROPOSALS FOR 2021 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM PROJECTS WHEREAS, televising of sanitary and storm sewers and leak testing of watermain is required to accurately evaluate the condition of below ground municipal utilities within proposed 2021 pavement management program projects; and WHEREAS, request for proposals were submitted to three firms for the purpose of obtaining quotes for competing the proposed televising services; and WHEREAS, the two televising quotes received are tabulated below; and Contractor Riverdale Drive Total Quote Business Park 95 Total Quote Nelson Sanitation & Rental, Inc. $ 5,516.68 $ 10,643.18 Hydro-Klean, LLC $ 5,912.50 $ 11,601.25 WHEREAS, the proposal of Nelson Sanitation & Rental, Inc. in the amount of $5,516.68 for the televising of Riverdale Drive and $10,643.18 for the televising of Business Park 95, for said services in accordance with the prepared proposal is the lowest responsible quote and their quote shall be and hereby is accepted. WHEREAS, request for proposals were submitted to two firms for the purpose of obtaining quotes for completing the proposed watermain leak testing services; and WHEREAS, the one leak testing quote received is tabulated below; and Contractor Riverdale Drive Total Quote Business Park 95 Total Quote Water Conservation Services, Inc. $ 580.00 $ 580.00 WHEREAS, the proposal of Water Conservation Services, Inc. in the amount of $580.00 for the watermain leak testing of Riverdale Drive and $580.00 for the watermain leak testing of Business Park 95, for said services in accordance with the prepared proposal is the lowest responsible quote and their quote shall be and hereby is accepted.
