Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #20-309 <br />RESOLUTION TO EXTEND TOWING CONTRACT WITH NORTHSTAR TOWING <br />WHEREAS, the city of Ramsey is currently under contract with Northstar Towing for <br />towing services; and <br />WHEREAS, while the City has had multiple contracts and extensions with Northstar <br />Towing, the current contract began in July, 2017; and <br />WHEREAS, the current contract has expired and the City and Northstar Towing have been <br />operating on a month -to -month basis unless said contract is formally terminated. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. The contract with Northstar Towing is extended until December 31, 2025. <br />2. The Mayor and City Administrator are authorized to execute an amendment to the <br />contract extending the date in Section 2 of said contract. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 8th day of December, 2020. <br />
