Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #20-310 <br />RESOLUTION TO EXTEND ANIMAL IMPOUNDMENT CONTRACT WITH NORTH <br />METRO ANIMAL CARE AND CONTROL <br />WHEREAS, the city of Ramsey is currently under contract with North Metro Animal Care <br />and Control for animal impound services; and <br />WHEREAS, while the City has had previously contracted with the City of Anoka for said <br />services, but discontinued this service offering in 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey began contracting with North Metro Animal Care and <br />Control in 2020 and requires extension of said contract. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. The contract with North Metro Animal Care and Control is extended until December 31, <br />2021. <br />2. The Mayor and City Administrator are authorized to execute an amendment to the <br />contract extending the date in said contract. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 8th day of December, 2020. <br />
