Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #20-296 <br />RESOLUTION HIRING TEMPORARY ICE RINK ATTENDANTS <br />WHEREAS, annually the City employs Temporary Rink Attendants to supervise and <br />perform various tasks at Central Park and Ramsey Elementary School ice rinks, warming houses <br />and grounds for approximately 10 weeks; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recruited for, interviewed, and selected qualified candidates; and <br />WHEREAS, the candidates have passed the pre -employment screening process; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends hiring as Mr. Jackson Dehen, Mr. Andrew Klocker, Mr. <br />Jacob Marcoux, Ms. Jessica Medenwaldt, Ms. Sydney Meyer, Ms. Hailey Peterson, Ms. Cathryn <br />Weishair and Ms. Elizabeth Witter as Temporary Ice Rink Attendants, all within the Rink <br />Attendant pay scale which is $10.08 to $10.58 per hour; effective on or near December 10, 2020. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />Motion to adopt resolution #20-296 to do the following: <br />1) Hire Mr. Jackson Dehen, Mr. Andrew Klocker, Mr. Jacob Marcoux, Ms. Jessica <br />Medenwaldt, Ms. Sydney Meyer, Ms. Hailey Peterson, Ms. Cathryn Weishair and Ms. <br />Elizabeth Witter all within the Rink Attendant pay scale which is $10.08 to $10.58 per <br />hour; effective on or near December 10, 2020. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 8th day of December, 2020. <br />
