Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #20-291 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2020, PAYABLE 2021, MUNICIPAL TAX LEVY <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the following levies for assessed 2020, payable 2021, be levied upon the taxable <br />property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the following <br />purposes: <br />GENERAL LEVY <br />Fund 101: General Fund - General Operations <br />Fiscal Disparity Transfer (as certified) $ 1,918,508 <br />Collected as Property Tax — EDA Levy 75,360 <br />Collected as Property Tax — General Levy 9,236,340 $ 11,230,208 <br />DEBT SERVICE LEVY <br />2015 CIP Bonds: Fire Station #2 190,933 <br />2012 CIP Bond — Municipal Center 814,713 <br />2013 Equipment Certificates 74,366 <br />2015 GO Road Improvement Bonds 114,563 <br />2014 Equipment Certificates 103,157 <br />2016 GO Road Improvement Bond 150,490 <br />2017 GO Road Improvement Bonds 96,768 <br />2018 GO Road Improvement Bonds 112,637 <br />2020 CIP Bond: Public Works Campus 121,973 <br />$1,779,600 <br />TOTAL CERTIFIED LEVIES $ 13,009,808 <br />2) That this final levy does not exceed the Proposed Levy adopted September 22, 2020. <br />3) That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the $335,740 related to the $3,090,000 GO <br />Refunding Bond, Series 2011 B, as per Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka County. <br />Anoka County is required to pay directly to the City, this debt service amount. <br />4) That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the total $1,235,863 (105% of debt service) <br />related to the GO Capital Improvement Plan Refunding Bonds for the Municipal Center. <br />The City will levy at $ 814, 713 . <br />
