ORDINANCE #05- <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND <br />SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, <br />MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />AN OI*,DINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 9.11.02 (ACCESSORY STRUCTURES) AND <br />9.21}. l 1 (R-I RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT) OF THE CITY CODE. <br /> <br />Thc City o1' Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1 AUTHORITY <br /> <br />This ordi~mnce is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the charter of the City of <br />P, amscy. <br /> <br />SECTION 2 REPEAL <br /> <br />The l:bllowing language is hereby repealed: <br /> <br />9.11.02 <br /> <br />Accessory Structures <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Every private in-ground swimming pool or commercial fishing <br />pond shall be enclosed by a fence or wall not less than four (4) feet high to prevent uncontrolled <br />access by small children. <br /> <br /> Subd. 2. Any proposed accessory building should be located on the parcel of <br />land so as to allow fbr orderly future re-subdivision of a parcel onlwhich the building is to be <br />located. <br /> <br /> Subd. 3. No accessory building shall be constructed on any lot prior to the time <br />o I" construction of the principal building. <br /> <br />Subd. 4. <br /> <br />no <br /> <br />The height of detached accessory buildings shall not exceed twenty-two (22) <br />feet on parcels 2.5 acres (108,900 square feet) or greater in size. <br /> <br />The height of detached accessory buildings shall not exceed sixteen (16) feet <br />on parcels less than 2.5 acres (108,900 square feet) in size. <br /> <br />The height of attached accessqry buildings shall not exceed the height of the <br />principal structure. A variance will be required to exceed the established <br /> <br /> <br />
