Assistant Com~nunity Development Director Frolik advised that the City has received an <br />application from James and Cheri Waller for a conditional use permit to exceed the maximum <br />allowable square footage for accessory buildings on properties on the property located at 17937 <br />Fluorine St. NW. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Frolik stated Staff believes that the additional <br />square Ibotage requested by the applicant is reasonable and is recommending that the request be <br />approved with a condition that the sidewall height of the proposed accessory building be <br />restricted to a maximum often feet. <br /> <br />Public ilearing <br /> <br />Assistant Chairperson Johnson called the public meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. <br /> <br />There was no input. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Van Scoy, seconded by Commissioner Levine, to close the public <br />hearing at 7:03 p.~n. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Assistant Chairperson Johnson, Commissioners Van Scoy, Levine, <br />13rauer, and Shepherd. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Nixt, and Commissioner <br />Watson. <br /> <br />Commission Business <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Van Scoy, seconded by Commissioner Levine, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt Findings of Fact favorable to the applicant relating to James and Cheri Waller's <br />request tbr a conditional use permit for an oversized accessory building. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Assistant Chairperson Johnson, Commissioners Van Scoy, Levine, <br />Braucr, and Shepherd. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Nixt, and Commissioner <br />Watson. <br /> <br />Commissioner Van Scoy asked if this is consistent with other permits the Planning Commission <br />has granted. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Frolik indicated it is. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Van Scoy, seconded by Commissioner Levine, to recommend that City <br />Council approve James and Cheri Waller's request for an oversized accessory building based on <br />thc llndings of fact, and adopt a resolution declaring terms of same. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Assistant Chairperson Johnson, Commissioners Van Scoy, Levine, <br />Brauer, and Shepherd. Voting No: None.
