Councilmcmbcr introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #05-06-XXX <br /> <br />RESOI,UTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE 2005 <br />PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM - DIVISION B BITUMINOUS OVERLAY <br />(IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS 05-06 AND 05-08) <br /> <br /> WllEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and <br />spccilications for thc above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WlIEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the <br />advcrtiscmcnt for bids for the above-referenced work on May 10, 2005; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2005 Pavement Maintenance <br />Program, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on June 8, 2005; and <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, the following bids were received for the 2005 Pavement Maintenance <br /> <br />t'rogram, Division B - Bituminous Overlay: <br /> <br />Bidder Amount of Bid <br /> <br />Bauerly Companies <br />North Valley Inc. <br />Hardives Inc. <br />Engineer Estimate <br /> <br />$281,001.65 <br />$291,427.75 <br />$309,878.OO <br />$363,301.00 <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, Bauerly Bros., Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW TllEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Bauerly Companies in the name of the City of Ramsey for the 2005 <br />Pavement Maintenance Program - Bituminous Overlay Division B (Improvement Projects <br />05-06 through 05-08) in the amount of $281.001.65. <br /> <br />Thc motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />..... and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and thc lbllowing voted against the same: <br /> <br />and thc tbllowing abstained: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-06-XXX <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
