229 <br />Water service exists to the area, but Sanitary Sewer does not. The City has a land use goal to <br />revitalize this node and <br />surrounding area, and the availability of Sanitary Sewer is a major variable in future land use <br />decisions. The MUSA boundary does not currently include this area. Findings from this study area <br />will be utilized to influence the City's 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update and discussions with <br />private developers currently proposing certain land use scenarios. The total estimated cost for this <br />study area is $1,776,000. This cost was calculated in the 2016 Comprehensive Sanitary Sewer Study <br />update and has been adjusted to 2018 dollars. <br />Surface Water Management Plan <br />Ramsey originally updated its Surface Water Management Plan in 2015. Changes to Minnesota <br />Rules required updates to this plan sooner than originally planned as part of the Comprehensive <br />Plan Update. A revised Surface Water Management Plan is incorporated by reference into the <br />Comprehensive Plan Update. <br />Ramsey supports additional discussion to coordinate the efforts of local municipalities, watershed <br />organizations, the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR), and the Metropolitan <br />Council to provide clarity, consistency, and reasonable update cycles for Surface Water <br />Management Plans. <br />City of RAMSEY <br />Comprehensive Plan 24 <br />
