2003 to 2009 3% <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />Wages and benefits for non -union employees are being proposed to be the same as the union contracts. Similar <br />union and non -union adjustments are important in order to effectively maintain internal equity, compete in external <br />hiring processes, and to retain the City's talent. The City may consider alternate wage and benefit packages, <br />however, staff does not recommend an alternative action. <br />Funding Source: <br />The funding required for this action is included in the proposed 2021 budget. <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends adopting resolution #20-317 to move forward with the City non -union health and dental <br />insurance contributions as listed and two and three-quarter percent (2.75%) COLA on January 1, 2021. <br />Action: <br />Motion to adopt resolution #20-317 to do the following: <br />1) Authorize the following non -union monthly City health insurance contributions, effective January 1, 2021: <br />Employee Only (Single) up to $1,034.50, Employee and Children at $1,246.00, Employee and Spouse at <br />$1,300.30, and Family at $1,603.80, or $370.00 to waive coverage; and <br />2) Authorize the non -union dental contribution, effective January 1, 2021, of $33.45 per month; and <br />2) Authorize increasing the non -union wage scale by two and three-quarter percent (2.75%), effective January 1, <br />2021. <br />Resolution #20-317 <br />Attachments <br />Form Review <br />Inbox Reviewed By Date <br />Kurt Ulrich Kurt Ulrich 12/10/2020 03:23 PM <br />Form Started By: Colleen Lasher Started On: 11/19/2020 11:23 AM <br />Final Approval Date: 12/11/2020 <br />
