<br />Councilmember Menth introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #20-280 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT WITH MINNESOTA <br />DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR PARKING LOT ENCROACHMENT <br />ONTO HIGHWAY 10 RIGHT OF WAY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City of Ramsey acquired Tract C, Registered Land Survey No. 151 <br />(“Subject Property”) for future Highway 10 improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> in 2012, it was discovered that the parking lot on the Subject Property <br />encroached onto Highway 10 right of way; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> the Minnesota Department of Transportation has requested that these <br /> <br />encroachments be temporarily barricaded until a longer-term solution can be approved.; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the Settlement Agreement with the <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation for parking lot encroachments onto Highway 10 <br />right of way. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Riley, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Menth <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Existing Vacancy <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
