WHEREAS <br />, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #20-165 adopted August 10, <br />2020 the City Council approved Change Order #1 in the amount of $43,410.80 to prevent <br />impacts to existing trees, landscaping, and private utilities, and will prevent the need to <br />reconstruct a portion of Variolite Street in the future by extending trunk sanitary sewer 160 linear <br />feet to the north, and will allow for the connection to City sewer and water services as requested <br />rd <br />by the residents at 7600 163 Lane NW; and <br /> <br />th <br />WHEREAS, <br />as ofNovember 24, 2020 $1,010,915.99 has been paid to date; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Engineer Technician IV has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends authorizing partial payment #4 to Park Construction Company for Improvement <br />Project #20-01, Variolite Street Reconstruction, in the amount of $568,565.85. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1)The City Council authorizes partial payment #4 to Park Construction Company of Spring <br />Lake Park, MN for Improvement Project #20-01, Variolite Street Reconstruction, in the <br />amount of $568,565.85. <br /> <br />2) The City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release <br />from for payment. <br /> <br />3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of November 24, 2020. <br /> <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be given a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Riley, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Menth <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />Resolution #20-272 <br />Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
