<br />Councilmember Menth introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #20-289 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING DONATION AGREEMENT AND ACQUISITION OF LOT <br />ND <br />1, BLOCK 1, PINEVIEW ESTATES 2 ADDITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the T & G Land (the “Donor”) proposes to donate Lot 1, Block 1, Pineview <br />nd <br />Estates 2 Addition (the “Property”) to the City of Ramsey (the “City”); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Donor has asked the City to pay for the cost relating to closing including, <br />but not limited to, the Appraisal and Phase 1 Environmental; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />a Donation Agreement has been drafted by the City Attorney which serves <br />as a purchase agreement and clarifies the costs responsible by each party and the requirements of <br />closing. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1)That the City Council authorizes the Mayor and City Administrator to execute the <br />attached Donation Agreement and to execute all documents required to complete the <br />transfer of the Property to the City. <br /> <br />2)The City Council formally accepts the donation of the Property. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Riley, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Menth <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
