Motion carried. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Review and Adopt 2002 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges <br /> <br />The Finance Committee recommend that the City Council adopt Resolution #01-12-445 <br />Adopting the 2002 Schedule of Rates, Fees, and Charges, and direct staff to research fees <br />pertaining to the penetrating of roadway and present the information as soon as <br />reasonably possible. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />Authorization to Purchase Boat, Motor, and Trailer for the Purposes of <br />Establishing Water and Ice Rescue <br />The Finance Committee recommended that the City Council approve the purchase of a <br />boat, motor, and trailer for an amount not to exceed $5,000. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />Information Systems (Computer Report) <br />The Finance Committee was presented a sumtnary by Mr. Barry Johnson of Dynamic <br />Information Systems, LLC, and recommended that the issue be discussed at length at a <br />future Council work session. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to ratify the <br />recommendations of the Finance Committee for Cases 2 through 4. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Kurak, Anderson, <br />and Zirm'nerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #12: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee met on December 18, 2001 to discuss the following cases: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Authorize Hiring of Auto Mechanic <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee recommended that the City Council authorize the hiring of <br />Brian Ihnot for the position of full-time Auto Mechanic with a salary consistent with the <br />union contract and two weeks vacation and serving a six-month probationary period. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Authorize Hiring of Community Service Officer <br />The Personnel Committee recommend that the City Council authorize the hiring of Cary <br />Schiferli for the position of full-time Community Service Officer effective January 1, <br />2001, with a salary consistent with the union contract and two weeks vacation and <br />serving a six month probationary period. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to ratify the <br />recommendations of the Personnel Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carded.
