CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, November 13, 2001, at the <br />Ramsey Fire Station Number II, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />City Engineer Brian Olson <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Police Chief David Gustafson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:06 p.m. and called <br />upon Councihnember Kurak to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to end the <br />probationary period for Fire Fighter Grega. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Anderson, Hendriksen, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />A presentation was made to Fire Fighter Grega commemorating the end of his probationary <br />period. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Jennifer Asmussen, 15029 Helium Street NW, Ramsey, stated that the City is considering <br />extending City sewer and water into their neighborhood and she attended an informational <br />meeting regarding the issue. Subsequent to that informational meeting, she watched a budget <br />meeting where the issue was brought up and it seemed to her that a couple of the <br />Councilmembers were not even aware of the project. During the informational meeting, the <br />residents were told, by staff, that the City would be paying for half of the roads, and then during <br /> <br />City Council/November 13, 2001 <br /> Page 3 of 20 <br /> <br /> <br />
