Segment #1: That portion of 152'~d Avenue NW west of the western right-of-way of Salish <br /> Street NW <br />· Segment #2: That portion of Juniper Ridge Drive NW located east of the eastern right-of- <br /> way extension of Salish Street NW <br /> Segment #3: That portion of 150th Avenue NW west of the western right-of-way of Xkimo <br /> Street <br /> <br />Probable future public purpose for each of these segments was eliminated as a result of <br />subsequent development patterns in adjacent areas. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to close the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Zimmerman, <br />Anderson, and Kurak. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:09 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:09 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to direct staff to draft <br />an Ordinance vacating those segments of City streets and direct the City Attorney to research and <br />advise the Council on ultimate disposition of the land associated with the street vacation. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Zimmerman requested that the City Attorney make sure that <br />any public easements are protected. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Kurak, Anderson, Hendriksen, <br />and Zimmennan. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Public Hearing: Establishment of Tax Increment Financing District No. 9 <br />and Approving its Financing Plan <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:11 p.m. in order to <br />conduct a public hearing. <br /> <br />City Council/October 23, 2001 <br /> Page 6 of 24 <br /> <br /> <br />
