Absent: Board Member Johnson. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS/BOARD BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Request for a Variance to Construct an Accessory Structure Nearer the <br />Front Property Line than the Principal Structure on a Property Less than <br />Two Acres in Size; Case of Jeff and Jill Stevenson <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Frolik advised that City Code states that no <br />accessory structure shall be constructed closer to the front property line than the principal <br />structure on lots less than two acres in size. She indicated Mr. and Mrs. Stevenson are proposing <br />to construct an accessory structure closer to the fi'ont property line than the principal structure on <br />the property located at 15900 St. Andrews Lane NW. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Frolik explained that the principal dwelling is <br />proposed to be located approximately eighty-three feet from the front property line. She stated <br />the proposed detached accessory building would be approximately fifty-three feet from the front <br />property line. She indicated Staff is in agreement with the proposal and recommends approval. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt opened the meeting to the public at 7:04 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Board Member Van Scoy to close the public hearing at <br />7:04 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Board Members Van Scoy, Brauer, Levine, <br />Shepherd, and Watson. Voting No: None, Absent: Board Member Johnson. <br /> <br />Board Business <br /> <br />Motion by Board Member Brauer, seconded by Board Member Van Scoy to adopt Resolution <br />#05-04-090 adopting Findings of Fact #0717 favorable to the applicant relating to Jeff and Jill <br />Stevenson's request for a variance to construct an accessory structure closer to the front property <br />line than the principal structure located at 15900 St. Andrews Lane NW. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Board Members Brauer, Van Scoy, Levine, <br />Shepherd, and Watson. Voting No: None.
