Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #20-259 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GEOTECHNICAL AND SURVEY PROPOSALS FOR 2021 <br />PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM PROJECTS <br />WHEREAS, geotechnical reports and topographic surveys are required to accurately evaluate and <br />design proposed 2021 pavement management program projects; and <br />WHEREAS, requests for proposals were submitted to two firms for the purpose of obtaining <br />quotes for completing the proposed survey services; and <br />WHEREAS, the two survey quotes received are tabulated below; and <br />Contractor <br />Tiger Street <br />Total Quote <br />Business Park 95 <br />Total Quote <br />Bolton & Menk, Inc. <br />$ 2,690.00 <br />$ 4,860.00 <br />Hakanson Anderson <br />$ 3,500.00 <br />$ 5,900.00 <br />WHEREAS, the quote of Bolton & Menk, Inc. in the amount of $ 2,690.00 for the survey of Tiger <br />Street and $ 4,860.00 for the survey of Business Park 95, for said services in accordance with the prepared <br />proposal is the lowest responsible quote and their quote shall be and hereby is accepted. <br />WHEREAS, request for proposals were submitted to four firms for the purpose of obtaining <br />quotes for completing the proposed geotechnical services; and <br />WHEREAS, the three geotechnical quotes received are tabulated below; and <br />Contractor <br />Tiger Street <br />Total Quote <br />Business Park 95 <br />Total Quote <br />Chosen Valley Testing <br />$ 4,564.00 <br />$ 4,064.00 <br />American Engineering Testing <br />$ 7,390.00 <br />$ 6,149.00 <br />Braun Intertec <br />$ 7,875.00 <br />$ 7,525.00 <br />WHEREAS, the quote of Chosen Valley Testing in the amount of $ 4,564.00 for the geotechnical <br />report of Tiger Street and $4,064.00 for the geotechnical report of Business Park 95, for said services in <br />accordance with the prepared proposal is the lowest responsible quote and their quote shall be and hereby <br />is accepted. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />
