Anoka County Contract No. 2005-0516B <br />AMENDMENT NO. 2 <br />TO JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN ANOKA COUNTY AND THE CITY OF RAMSEY <br />FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS IMPROVEMENTS <br />RELATED TO THE RAMSEY TOWN CENTER DEVELOPMENT <br />RAMSEY, MINNESOTA . <br />THIS AMENDMENT is made this day of February, 2012, the date of the signature <br />of the parties notwithstanding, by and between the County of Anoka, a political subdivision of <br />the State of Minnesota, 2100 Third Avenue, Anoka, Minnesota 55303, hereinafter referred to as <br />' the "County," and the City of Ramsey, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard, Ramsey, Minnesota 55303, <br />hereinafter referred to as the "City." • <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the County wishes to amend its Joint, Powers Agreement with the City for <br />public works improvements related to the Ramsey Town Center (RTC) Development, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota dated May 12, 2005; and <br />WHEREAS, Paragraph 20 ENTIRE AGREEMENT REQUIREMENT OF A WRITING of <br />said Agreement provides that any alterations, variations or modifications of the provisions of this <br />Agreement shall be valid only when they have been reduced to writing and duly signed by the <br />parties. <br />WHEREAS, the City has made improvements to the transportation system in and around <br />the RTC (Currently referred to as "The COR"), that greatly improve the movement of traffic in <br />the COR and on surrounding Streets and Highways and rail related safety improvements. <br />Whereas, the County has worked to improve the overall transportation system <br />throughout Anoka County and wishes to participate in these additional system wide <br />improvements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants hereinafter stated or <br />contained in the Agreement, the parties do hereby agree as follows: <br />•1.. The parties agree to add to Section 9. DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS the following: <br />
