However, within an 0.25-mile radius of the <br />project area, the MPCA WIMN website identified 10sites, including six construction stormwater <br />permit sites, two hazardous waste sites, one petroleum brownfield site, and one petroleum leak site <br />(Table 7). The MDA website did not identify anyspills, incidents, or contingency areas within 0.25 <br />mile of the project area. <br />The construction stormwater permit sites relate to recent or ongoing construction projects approved <br />in the vicinity of the proposed project. The MPCA file on the brownfield site has been closed since <br />2007. One of the hazardous waste sites is a verysmall quantity generator and the MPCA file on this <br />other is hazardous waste site is inactive. None of these sites are known to pose an environmental <br />contamination threat to the project area. <br />The Mthe Dave Nathe Farm as a nearby petroleum Leak Site. <br />This Leak Site is located about 320 feet north of the northwest corner of the project area (Figure 7). <br />The MPCA listsitasLeak Site 6487. The Leak Site is described inthe Phase I ESA (Appendix D) <br />and listed in Table 7. The site was discovered on June 28, 1993, reported to the MPCA on June 30, <br />1993. The leak sitefile was listed asclosed by the MPCA on April 24, 1996. Contaminated soils <br />remaining are listed as unknown, offsite contamination is listed as unknown, groundwater <br />contamination is listed as not reported and product released is listed as diesel.
